Board of Directors Election
KCOA Board of Directors election for 2023-24
The work and business of our Kings Charter community is overseen by a five-member Board of Directors. The Board, as directed by our Bylaws, makes decisions about the budget, maintenance of facilities, the work of the various committees and other matters that affect our experience of our community as homeowners.
There will be an election for the Kings Charter Owners Association Board of Directors at the Annual Meeting on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. New directors will be elected to one-year, two-year and three-year terms based on the number of votes received (director with the highest number of votes will be elected to a three-year term, the director with the second highest number of votes will be elected to a two-year term and the director with lowest number of votes will be elected to a one-year term).
The Board invites you to consider running for election to the Board of Directors. Kings Charter is a community powered by volunteers, and we need your wisdom, experience and energy to help Kings Charter continue to be a great place in which to live! The Board elects its own officers which include President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary. As you consider your ability and willingness to serve, you may wish to refer to the association Bylaws which describes the powers and duties of the Board. If you are interested in running for election to the Board of Directors you must complete the Nomination Form (Word format) Nomination form (pdf format) and submit it to the Clubhouse, no later than September 18th. Typed responses in the format provided are preferred. Please limit all typed responses to one side of a standard-size page. Your fellow volunteers on the Board hope you will give this invitation serious thought. If you have any questions about the election process or about the responsibilities involved with serving on the board, please feel free to contact Community Manager, Denez Stabler.
