KCOA Board of Directors election for 2026-27

Dear Members of Kings Charter Owners Association, Inc.:

Kings Charter Owners Association, Inc. ("Association") will hold its annual meeting at 6:00 p.m.
on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at the Kings Charter Clubhouse, 9407 Kings Charter Drive,
Mechanicsville, Virginia. The purpose of the meeting is to elect three (3) members to the
Association's Board of Directors ("Board") and to report on the accomplishments Of the past year.
We hope that you will join us for this important event!

Four candidates have submitted nomination forms for the three vacancies on the Board Of
Directors. Please review the attached candidate biographies and thoughtfully consider for whom
you would like to vote. Write-in candidates are permitted, and additional candidates may be
nominated from the floor at the annual meeting. To facilitate your voting process, a paper proxy
ballot is also enclosed for your use, or you may cast your vote electronically again this year.
Whether you choose to vote via paper ballot or electronically, please do exercise your right to vote.

To make it easier for homeowners and to encourage participation in this annual process, we have
again partnered with Election Buddy. This is a 3rd party voting service that many associations use
today.

'Kings Charter Annual Meeting. Vote now: Kings Charter Annual Meeting on October 8, 2026.
Please be sure to check your Promotions / Spam folder for the notice. Notifications for Election
Buddy will be sent to the PRIMARY email address on file for each home. Only 1 Ballot is permitted
per household.

 

Proxies submitted by the owner of a single-family lot should be signed by all owners of the lot.
You may only submit one proxy ballot per lot. Irregular proxies will be rejected. In the event an
electronic and paper vote are both cast, the electronic vote will prevail. The decision of the proxy
holder as to the validity of a proxy is final. A proxy signed by a person who has power Of Attorney
for an owner must be accompanied by a true and complete copy of the executed Power of
Attorney document. A proxy executed by an officer of an entity (i.e., corporation, limited liability
company, partnership, etc.) must be accompanied by a resolution Of the entity giving authority
to that officer to cast the vote of the entity.
